Description
IDEABOND 8800 SUPER WEATHERPROOF SILICONE SEALANT is a one-part, neutral-cure, architectural grade sealant specifically designed for general glazing and weather sealing in curtain wall and building facade.

Characteristic
a. Can be easily used and extruded any time.
b. Neutral cure-suitable for use on most construction materials.
c. Excellent adhesion to most construction materials without the primmer.
d. Excellent weather ability, virtually unaffected by sunlight, rain, snow, ozone or temperature extremes.

Where to use
IDEABOND 8800 is especially designed for general glazing and weather sealing in curtain wall and building facades. It is suitable for glazing weatherproofing movement joint and sealing the joints of the non-structural curtain wall.

Use limitations
IDEABOND 8800 silicone Weatherproofing sealant is not fit for structural usage. It should NOT be applied in the following conditions:
a. To building materials that bleed oils, plasticizers or solvents and green or partially sulfur zed gaskets or tapes, etc.
b. In totally confined spaces (Silicon sealant need the water in the air to cure)

Material feature
IDEABOND 8800 Super Silicone Weatherproof sealant can keep good viscous degree and can easily extruded at -25℃ to 50℃; Can keep good flexibility at  -50℃ to 150℃ after cured. It is unaffected by UV ray, rain, ice, snow, air pollution, ozone and high or low temperature.

Colors
White, black, grey. We can also supply other colors according to the customer's requirement.

Storage and shelf life
When stored at dry and airy, 27℃ or lower temperature conditions in the original unopened container.
