Description
IDEABOND 8700 WEATHERPROOF SILICONE SEALANT is a one-part, medial modulus, neutral curing sealant. It has an excellent adhesive ability to most construction materials without a primer.

Characteristic
a. Can be easily used and extruded any time.
b. Excellent contact change and extrusion ability, in any air temperature (-40℃ to 100℃) can extrude easily.
c. Excellent adhesion to stone, ceramics, concrete, and other building materials. It has no pollution to porous materials.

Where to use
IDEABOND 8700 is fit for sealing all kinds of glass doors and windows, aluminum curtain wall.

Use limitations
IDEABOND 8700 is not fit for structural usage. It should NOT be applied in the following conditions:
a. To all materials that bleed oils, plasticizers or solvents, and green or partially sulfur zed gaskets or
Tapes, etc.
b. In totally confined space (Silicone sealant need the water in the air to cure)
c. For continuous immersion in water or below-grade applications all the year.
d. To painted surfaces, may cause seal failure as the paint cracking or paint stripping
