Description
10000 IDEABOND SOLAR P-V MODULES SILICONE SEALANT is designed for solar PV modules and aluminium frame. It is a kind of neutral cue silicone sealant which cures through the moisture in the air at room temperature. It has a very good bonding ability with materials like metal, plastic, ceramics and glass. With strong weathering ability, it performs well in the adhesion as well as sealing of solar PV module frame. The product also applies to electronic communication equipment such as automotive accessories and instrumentation industries.. 

Characteristic
IDEABOND 10000 has an excellent adhesive to most of construction material without a primer. It has good features as follow:
a. Good adhesion on most substrates without primer.
b. Neutral curing, non-corrosive to most metals
c. Excellent electrical insulation.
d. Excellent weather resistance, ozone resistance and resistance to chemical attack
e. Excellent resistance to high and low temperature from -40℃ to 260℃
f. Excellent weather resistant, high performance under sunlight, rain, snow, ozone or temperature extremes

Where to use
IDEABOND 10000 is designed for Sealing of Aluminum frame of solar energy PV module and adhesive between junction box and TPT, TPE, PET film.
 
Use limitations
IDEABOND 10000 structural silicone sealant for construction is fit for structural usage. It should NOT be applied in the following conditions:
a. To all spaces that bleed oils, plasticizers or solvents such as wood immersed in oil, oil.
Crack filler, and some uncured or sulfur zed fat, it should NOT be applied.
b. To the unventilated space (Silicone sealant need the water in the air to cure.
c. To the circumstances as immersed in water for a long time, underground all the year
d. To painted surfaces, may cause seal failure as the paint cracking or paint stripping.
